ConsultationS

Free, 30-minute consultations with a licensed speech pathologist are available via Zoom or phone to discuss communication concerns and to figure out whether Bridgetown is the right fit for your family.

EVALUATIONS

We conduct in-depth evaluations using a variety of standardized, norm-referenced techniques. An evaluation also relies on parent report and clinical judgment. A full report including assessment findings and a plan of treatment will be provided to the family within one week of the evaluation.

Treatment

At Bridgetown, we treat the following speech and language disorders and communication needs:

  • Articulation and phonological disorders

  • Motor speech disorders including apraxia of speech and dysarthria 

  • Receptive and expressive language disorders

  • Pragmatic and social language disorders/difficulties

  • Augmentative and alternative communication

  • Fluency disorders/stuttering

SPECIALTY TREATMENT PROGRAMS


  • Intensive apraxia treatment 

  • Augmentative and alternative communication device or app selection, acquisition through insurance, and training and support for families and teachers

  • Early literacy and reading support

TELETHERAPY

Teletherapy services are available for select clients based on a number of factors. Please call to schedule a consultation to discuss whether teletherapy is a good option for your family.

Is my insurance accepted?

Bridgetown Speech and Language does not accept insurance, and is considered an out of network provider. An invoice and superbill will be provided for each session. This allows clients to bill their insurance company directly and get reimbursed for services. It is the family’s responsibility to contact their insurance company directly.

Payment with an HSA or FSA card is also available.
